Despite winter's slow start, the snow came in time for our winter campout at Kiwanis Lodge at Camp Woodland. Saturday's cold weather made for a cozy scene in our cabin, while scouts built forts and exercised complex strategic snowball maneuvers. Saturday evening, scouts played poker (not for money, of course), and then drifted to sleep. Overall, the weekend was a great time, and despite some freezing rain making the ride home a little tricky, this was one Troop campout that went off without a hitch.
