The 2005 hike up Blue Mountain was so successful, that Troop 400 decided to put on an encore event, this time on Father's Day weekend, as a sort of father-son bonding experience. Hiking in June, the warm air had had time to reach all the way into the high peaks of the Adirondacks, and the mountain was covered by many more leaves than it had been in May. The weather was great, and the climb was both challenging and enjoyable. There were too many bugs at the top, but other than that, there weren't many other complaints about this hike.
