For the Father's Day Hike this year, Troop 400 decided to return to the location of one of their best climbs, all the way back in 2003. Cascade and Porter are two of the 46 Adirondack High Peaks, positioned very close to each other. They aren't too far from the trailhead at the highway, so the pair made a good candidate for a day hike.

In contrast to our trip in 2003, which took place in October, this Saturday in June was sunny and warm. We had some fun with trees, and in all, it was a great kick-off to the summer camping season.
