All the necessary forms and permission slips for summer camp are handed out at the troop meetings, but we're betting at least some of our scouts will lose them before they get back to us. So to save precious trees and speed up the process, we've collected all the forms you're likely to need for summer camp here. They're all in printer-friendly PDF format, and ready for you to download. |
Medical FormsThese are vitally important for attending camp. Without filling out Class 1, 2, and 3 forms completely and getting them back to troop leaders, your scout won't be able to participate in anything at summer camp. Activity FormsOne of the big program features at summer camp is Merit Badge Classes. The following paperwork gives scouts the chance to sign up for the 30+ merit badges offered at Sabattis. The first form must be filled out and handed in to troop leaders by the beginning of June, and the second form is an aid to help scouts efficiently plan their time. The third form is the most important, and must be filled out and handed to troop leaders prior to camp, in order to allow your scout to go on the trek to Pole Island with the rest of Troop 400. Other Helpful ItemsStill not sure you're ready for camp? Check out some of the pictures in our Photos section. If that still doesn't help, take a look at these forms, which include maps, directions, and packing ideas. Contact InformationAs remote as Sabattis Reservation is, you may still find it necessary to reach Troop 400 while we are away at camp. Information for getting in touch with us is listed below. Please be advised that mail takes four days to reach Sabattis. Do not send any mail after Tuesday of the week of camp, as your son will not receive it. Furthermore, the phone number listed is only for emergencies. There are two payphones near the entrance to camp that your scout can call home from. Troop 400 makes at least two trips to the phones during the week.
